CHIAHA HARVEST FAIR SET FOR THIS WEEKEND

AAA:  GEORGIA’S GAS PRICES DECLINED ANOTHER TWO CENTS THIS PAST WEEK

Georgia’s gas prices declined another two cents in the past week, according to AAA, The Auto Club Group.  Motorists statewide are now paying an average of $2.43 per gallon of regular unleaded, two cents less than the same time last week, 16 cents less than last month and 32 cents less than last year. The Floyd County Commission will meet in regular session today.  They will gather for a caucus session at 4 pm, which will be followed by the meeting at 6 pm at the county’s Administration Building on East 4th Avenue in downtown Rome.  Both are open to the public.read more »
